My professional life as a musician involves quite a variety of work. As well as being a performing trumpet player, hired to play in a variety of commercial, jazz and classical styles, I also work as an arranger, conductor, teacher, and session musician.

In the past I have been hired to arrange music for bands such as The Riverbrew, The Communicators and FD Entertainments (Bristol), The Supers, as well as Lions Brass 4 Youth and various small brass ensembles. I have worked as a trumpet consultant for Boosey and Hawkes Publishing and I have recently begun selling some brass ensemble arrangements on Score Exchange.

I have worked as a conductor and ensemble coach for Cardiff and Vale Music Service (Cardiff Youth Jazz Orchestra for 4 years), Lions Brass 4 Youth, Wells City Band and Whitstone Community Concert Band.

Above you will find a menu with links to pages about performances at Weddings and Bugle Calls, and also a page about the teaching services that I offer. As an introduction to my teaching I recently added a document titled General Advice For Brass Players, which has been surprisingly popular. Please have a read and get in touch with any questions.
